چکیده
This study examines the relationship between magnitude of climate variability and household vulnerability in catchment areas Sot Khola sub-water basin western mountainous Surkhet, Nepal by constructing a theoretical index based on household-level data collected from 642 Household covering adaptive, sensitive, exposure. Its result is (CVI) households living sub water basin’s areas, which provides sufficient evidence heterogeneity across location altitude areas. In all clusters, are vulnerable at different level. Households have heterogeneous adaptive capacity about 40 percent less indicating potentially households, although 60 higher capacity. The majority (52.7%) sensitive to Climate-induced disasters: landslides floods due their socio-economic status food insufficiency. But 47.4 sensitive. Since households’ locations far flood patches, 4.4 exposure but 95.6 composite shows 50 moderate climate-induced disaster: landslide flood. It was supplemented additional 17.0 moderately households. Thus, total, 67 level extremely vulnerable. remaining (33 percent) least

the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...
Climate change vulnerability assessment in Georgia
Climate change is occurring in the Southeastern United States, and one manifestation is changes in frequency and intensity of extreme events. A vulnerability assessment is performed in the state of Georgia (United States) at the county level from 1975 to 2012 in decadal increments. Climate change vulnerability is typically measured as a function of exposure to physical phenomena (e.g., droughts...

Designing an index of structural vulnerability to climate change
Introduction Since climate change has been recognized as a dominant issue for world economy and policy, resources have been looked for financing mitigation as well as adaptation. Logically allocation criteria should be different for mitigation and adaptation. As for adaptation, the criteria should reflect the need of the countries and their capacity to effectively use the resources. The same is...
متن کاملGeospatial datasets in support of high-resolution spatial assessment of population vulnerability to climate change in Nepal
We present a geographic information system (GIS) dataset with a nominal spatial resolution of one-kilometer composed of grid polygons originally derived and utilized in a high-resolution climate vulnerability model for Nepal. The different data sets described and shared in this article are processed and tailored to the specific objectives of our research paper entitled "High-resolution Spatial ...
